A Baby MOT is a quick, 30-minute check designed to give parents peace of mind. It looks at your baby’s movement, milestones, posture, and overall motor development.

Baby MOT – FAQs
What happens in a Baby MOT?
You’ll complete a detailed intake form beforehand. In the session, we will check your baby’s gross motor skills, posture, strength, and milestone progression. You’ll leave with clear advice and practical strategies you can use at home.
When should I book one?
A Baby MOT is useful at any stage up to 24 months, but particularly if you’re worried about rolling, crawling, sitting, standing, walking, or general motor skills.
Why not just wait for the NHS?
NHS referrals often involve long waiting times, and sometimes babies don’t meet the threshold for support. A Baby MOT gives you quick reassurance, early advice, and a clear plan without the wait.
Where does it take place?
Either at the clinic in Hamworthy, Poole (BH15) or via a virtual consultation.

Price on request as each item is a different price and assessments take different times.
Extras
Virtual Appointments - £100 per hour
Reports, Charity applications and supporting letters - £100 per hour (min 1 hour)
Medico-Legal/Tribunal Reports - £120 per hour
Liaison with the child's MDT i.e phonecalls, emails - £100 per hour pro rata
Attendance at meetings - charged at £100 per hour (min 1 hour)

Payment is preferred via BACS but PayPal, Credit/Debit cards via MyPos and Cheques/cash accepted
All sessions must be paid within 24hours of invoice
Invoices can be supplied for insurance companies but we do not bill/invoice insurance companies directly
Cancellation Policy - Sessions cancelled within less than 24 hours will be charged in full
Non-attendances will be subject to the full fee.
Please note, if we need to cancel or amend an appointment, we will inform you at the earliest possible opportunity.
