Baby MOT
Worried about your baby’s development?
A Baby MOT is a focused, 30-minute physiotherapy assessment designed to provide reassurance, early advice and clear practical next steps. It considers your baby’s movement, posture, strength, milestone progression and overall motor development.
- Suitable for babies aged 0–24 months
- £50 per appointment
- Available at our Poole clinic or virtually
- Includes a detailed intake form and professional physiotherapy assessment
- Ideal if you are concerned about your baby’s development or are facing a long wait for NHS assessment
A Baby MOT may be helpful if you have concerns about rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, walking, head shape, posture, movement symmetry or general motor development.
What happens during a Baby MOT?
You will complete a detailed intake form before the appointment. During the session, we will assess your baby’s gross motor skills, posture, strength and milestone progression. You will receive clear advice and practical strategies to use at home.
Where does the Baby MOT take place?
Baby MOT appointments are available at the Children’s Physio Dorset clinic in Poole or as a virtual consultation.
DMO and Second Skin Garments
Assessment, measuring, ordering and fitting appointments are available for DMO and Second Skin garments.
Prices are available on request, as the cost of each garment and the appointment time required will vary according to your child’s individual needs.
